IKEA - Hus of FRAKTA

Oxford Street, London, UK.

Working closely with the team at 160/90, we helped develop a conceptual framework for IKEA’s Hus of FRAKTA retail experience, later realised as a real pop-up store on London’s Oxford Street. Drawing inspiration from the iconic blue FRAKTA bag, we envisioned an immersive environment blending retail, art, and culture. Through spatial storytelling, reflective materials, and interactive installations, the design transformed an everyday object into a symbol of creativity and inclusivity. Our work focused on designing and visualising the customer journey, from tactile engagement to emotional connection celebrating IKEA’s values of sustainability, accessibility, and playful exploration within a bold, design-led retail space.
